ABOUT KINGDOM HOMES IDAHO

A Local Builder With Deep Roots in North Idaho

Our Story

Kingdom Homes Idaho is led by longtime friends and lifelong builders Luther Coerver and Freedom Watson. Both were raised in the trades, learning early that craftsmanship is about integrity, relationships, and doing the job right—every time. Their backgrounds took them across states, skill sets, and life experiences, but each ultimately returned home to Sandpoint and to the work they were meant to do.

After reconnecting on a job site years later, the two realized they shared the same calling: to build high-quality custom homes for families across North Idaho. Their first major project together—Luther’s own 3,600 sq. ft. custom home—proved they were meant to be partners.

At Kingdom Homes, we take on only a select number of projects each year, ensuring personal attention, clear communication, and uncompromising craftsmanship from start to finish. When we build your home, we build it like it’s our own.

OUR TEAM

Meet the Builders

Luther Coerver

Co-Founder

Luther has called Sandpoint home since he was 11, but his love for building started much earlier. At just five years old, he was tagging along with his stepdad to job sites, drawn to the simple joy of creating something with his own hands. That early passion has guided him ever since.

His path wound through college, military service, and construction work across the West—from framing and remodeling to large-scale log projects and HVAC. No matter where life took him, he always found his way back to the craft.

What sets Luther apart isn't just his skillset—it's his approach. He's built his reputation on honest work, lasting relationships, and genuine respect for the people he serves. When he partnered with Freedom to launch Kingdom Homes Idaho, he put that philosophy to the test by building his own 3,600 sq. ft. custom home. That project reaffirmed what he's always known: building isn't just what he does—it's who he is.

Today, Luther brings decades of experience, deep community roots, and an unwavering commitment to quality into every home Kingdom Homes Idaho creates. For families throughout North Idaho, that means a partner who genuinely cares about building something that lasts.

Freedom Watson

Co-Founder

Born and raised in Sandpoint, Freedom grew up with sawdust in his veins. His father—a free-spirited Texan who found his calling in the trades—built a respected career as a custom home contractor, and Freedom was right there alongside him. From picking up nails as a kid to framing homes as a teenager, he learned early what quality workmanship really means.

After high school, like many young men searching for their path, Freedom ventured into the tech world. The work was promising, but something felt off. It didn't connect to the values he was raised with—the tangible satisfaction of building something real, something that lasts.

In 2021, he came home to Sandpoint and returned to the work that felt honest and meaningful. He spent the next several years deepening his expertise—building new homes, performing inspections, and honing his craft under Chris Turnbull at Box H Construction.

Then he reconnected with Luther, a childhood friend whose journey had taken a similar path. Shared history, timing, and faith converged, and they realized they were meant to build something together. That realization became Kingdom Homes—a company built on craftsmanship, integrity, and the belief that strong relationships create strong homes.

Today, Freedom brings more than technical skill to every project. He brings a lifetime of experience, the humility of someone who's walked away and chosen to come back, and a deep sense of purpose in the work he does.

“Homes Designed with Heart, Built with Honor.”
